A point-of-care device for rapid infection tests your compliance officer will actually like.
VynMed makes infection screening something a nurse can run in under a minute and a surveyor can audit just as fast. It works with the COVID, flu, RSV, strep, and other lateral flow strips your facility already stocks.
One device. Works with any rapid lateral flow test.
Insert test strip
Nurse inserts a rapid infection test strip (COVID, flu, RSV, strep). No new consumables. Works with the strips your facility already uses.
Photograph and seal
Each strip is photographed under controlled lighting and timing before the result is read, and sealed into a signed record with chain of custody built in.
Audit-ready record
Every test produces a timestamped, cryptographically signed record. Tamper-evident audit logs ready for surveyors, attorneys, or medical directors.
The device captures a timestamped, tamper-evident photographic record of each test cassette, the disposable rapid test itself, at the point of care, so a facility can substantiate that a test was performed, when, and by whom. It does not interpret test results, diagnose conditions, recommend treatment, or make clinical decisions. It is not FDA-cleared and is not marketed as a diagnostic device.
Made for infection screening on the nursing floor.
Under a minute of hands-on time
The workflow is designed to fit between med pass and morning rounds, not replace them. Staff who can run a glucometer can run VynMed.
Reusable hardware
The endpoint stays on the counter. Consumables are small, cheap, and easy to stock, with no $8,000 single-use cassette problem.
Offline-tolerant
Facility internet goes down on a Saturday night? The device keeps working and reconciles the audit log once it's back online.
Role-aware
Techs, nurses, and administrators see different screens. No "one master login" shared across a cart full of staff.
Why this approach is durable
Most "point of care" products in this category are a strip, a reader, and a hope that the paperwork lines up later. VynMed is built around a granted US utility patent that protects the reusable endpoint itself (the part facilities actually own) and the chain-of-custody workflow baked into it.
That is how the record stays consistent across shifts, across buildings, and across operator turnover. It lives in the product, not in a policy binder somebody has to remember to follow.
